I've been dealing with a terrible barking cough for the past three days and it's making my chest hurt from all the coughing. Everything I've been coughing up is clear, but I'm getting worried that it might be something more serious than just a cold, especially since I used to smoke. Could this be a sign of something else?

I'm living in a cold climate, and for the past couple of years, as winter approaches, I've noticed I have this ongoing breathing problem along with a cough that produces phlegm. It seems to linger all winter long. I've tried using some anti-cough syrups, but they haven't really helped much. Do you have any advice on what I should do?

I'm experiencing some chest heaviness and having trouble breathing. I already have asthma and usually use Rotacaps and Montair LC to manage it, but they don't seem to be helping right now. Could you suggest what I should do next?
Salbutamol inhaler and budesonide 200 sos is advised for breathing difficulty.
