I've been dealing with a throat ulcer I got treated for about three weeks ago. I saw an ENT specialist and took all the prescribed medication. While the ulcer seems to be healed, I'm worried because I still can't talk or get my voice back. It's been over three weeks since this started and I'm really concerned. What should I do about this?

Can FESS with turbinoplasty be done under local anesthesia or is general anesthesia necessary I'm a bit nervous about the procedure and want to know what to expect

FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery) with turbinoplasty can be done under local or general anesthesia, but the choice of anesthesia depends on the specific procedure and patient's needs. General anesthesia is often preferred for more complex FESS procedures and turbinoplasty, while local anesthesia with sedation may be suitable for less extensive procedures

I'm just wondering about how long you can use ear drops after opening them. If the bottle says they expire in November 2022, does that mean they're good to use until then, even if I've opened it?

After opening a bottle of ear drops, it is generally safe to use them for about 4 weeks. However, it is important to check the specific instructions on the bottle for any recommended duration of use after opening. If the bottle indicates an expiration date of November 2022, you can use the ear drops until that date as long as you follow proper storage instructions and there are no signs of contamination or changes in the appearance or smell of the drops. Make sure to recap the bottle tightly after each use and store it in a cool, dry place.

Ive been noticing this really unpleasant smell coming from my throat (not my mouth) for about 40 to 50 days now. It hangs around for a day or two, and it's happened three times so far. Im also dealing with a dry cough that pops up whenever I'm in air-conditioned places or when there's a lot of dust around, but it's not severe and doesn't last long. Plus, I get body aches once a week that last up to two to three days. Im kind of worried about what these symptoms might mean. Which type of doctor should I see to figure out whats going on?

refer to Pulmonologist
