I've been dealing with tonsillitis for a while nowit's really frustrating. The ENT specialist gave me Oratil 500, Rabemac, and Allegra, which worked at first. But now, the symptoms are back. Should I repeat the same treatment? The doctor also mentioned the possibility of removing my tonsillitis glands. Is that a safe option? I'm really curious and a bit worried about what to do next.

View allMy nose feels really dry, and I can even feel the dryness when I'm breathing. It's uncomfortable, and I've tried putting on some Vaseline, but I'm not sure if that's enough. Is there anything else I should be doing to help with this dryness?
I recommend using a saline nasal spray to help moisturize your nasal passages. You can also try using a humidifier in your room to add moisture to the air. If the dryness persists, you can use a nasal gel like Rhinase to help lubricate your nasal passages.

I've got this large ulcer on the wall of my left tonsil. It all began as a small ulcer about six days ago, but now it's blown up to be 1 inch high and 12 inches in diameter. My doctor gave me some antibiotics to take, but I'm just wondering how long it's usually supposed to take for something like this to heal up?
