I've been diagnosed with a C5-C6 cervical herniation. Can this be cured without surgery or is cervical discectomy and fusion the only option? How major or minor is this surgery? If my symptoms are improving with medications, is surgery still necessary? What are the possible complications of the procedure?

The doctors are recommending surgery soon but I'm wondering if we can wait two months to see if there's any improvement or if surgery is really urgent. Are there any non-surgical options to help strengthen his muscles instead?

My doctor recommended brain surgery to remove a tumor located above the right ear near the skull. The swelling keeps getting worse and I'm worried should I go ahead with the surgery? I'm 32 and want to understand the risks since the tumor seems to be growing quickly.

What are the potential complications I should be aware of after surgery for this right temporal and fronto-parietal brain lesion? It's a mixed-intensity lesion with cystic and hemorrhagic areas, about 5.3 cm in size, showing low T1 and high T2 signals on MRI. I'm especially concerned about recovery risks given the location and characteristics of the tumor.
