I've been diagnosed with a hole in my eardrum and have liquid discharge along with ear fullness. My general physician recommended surgery but I'm a bit nervous can you tell me more about the costs, possible side effects, and what precautions I should take after the procedure?

I'm really worried because I've got this yellow pus with a terrible smell coming out of my right nostril. It's got this drainage-like odor that's just unbearable. Last month I had a lot of tooth pain, but that's gone now. The pus seems to come out whenever I bend over. I've seen a top ENT and a dentist, and they couldn't figure out what's wrong, even after an X-ray in the front of my mouth. Now they're suggesting a CT scan to diagnose it.
