I've been diagnosed with a partial tear in my medial patellofemoral ligament will this heal with just rest or would I need surgery? I'm a bit worried about recovery and what to expect.

Posterior labrum repair is safe with risks of stiffness,nerve injury,or instability.Bio-absorbable sutures dissolve over months and do not need removal.

I damaged my knee cartilage and heard it doesn't heal well on its own are there any surgeries or treatments that can actually help regenerate it or am I stuck with this forever
While knee cartilage doesn't naturally regenerate, several surgical and nonsurgical treatments can help repair, regenerate, or replace damaged cartilage. You're not necessarily "stuck" with the damage if you seek appropriate medical care.
