I've been experiencing a lot of discomfort due to worms in my anus, especially at night, and it's been going on for over 10 days now. Are there any home remedies that could help with this?

You may be experiencing symptoms of pinworm infection. For this condition, you can try using over-the-counter medication like Albendazole. The usual dosage for Albendazole in adults is a single dose of 400mg. It is important to follow the instructions on the package insert or as directed by your healthcare provider. Additionally, maintaining good hygiene practices such as washing hands regularly, keeping nails short, and washing bedding and clothing frequently can help prevent the spread of the infection.

My son has one testicle that hasn't descended and the doctor recommended surgery to remove the undescended one. Is there any homeopathic treatment that can help with this instead? We're based in Hyderabad and looking for alternatives before going for surgery.

While homeopathic remedies are available, they don't have a proven track record for treating undescended testicles. Surgery is generally recommended for this condition, and the sooner it's done, the better. orchiopexy, a surgical procedure to move the undescended testicle into the scrotum.

My baby girl just turned 4 months old and started her 5th month. Our pediatrician suggested we start her on solids. I'm wondering what the best solids are to begin with at this age. I've already made some ragi malt and boiled rice kanji at home. What's the best way to prepare kanji for my baby? Is it okay to add formula or expressed breast milk to it? If I introduce solid food once a day, how many milk feeds should she still have? What other solids would be suitable for her age? I'm also curious about the best way to feed her ragi kanji. She really doesn't like palada. Would using a bottle, cup and spoon, or sipper be better for her? I'd appreciate some guidance.

I'm really concerned about my little one who's almost 1 and a half years old. He's still breastfeeding, but my wife isn't doing well health-wise. She's struggling with depression and is really weak, so she can't keep breastfeeding. We've tried giving our kid food and fruits, but he still cries a lot for his mother's milk and doesn't like drinking regular milk. Could you please give us advice on how to wean him off breastfeeding?
