View allI have DNS and trouble breathing through my nose, no sneezing though. Can you check the CT scan I attached and let me know if I really need septoplasty surgery?
A deviated septum, causing nasal obstruction and breathing difficulty, may or may not require surgery. A CT scan can help assess the severity of the deviation and guide treatment decisions. If the deviation is significant and causing symptoms like difficulty breathing, chronic sinus infections, or nasal obstruction impacting quality of life, septoplasty surgery might be recommended. However, if the deviation is mild and not causing significant symptoms, surgery might not be necessary. A consultation with an ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) specialist is crucial to determine the best course of action based on your specific situation and the CT scan results.
