I've been experiencing something strange in my throat where I can feel my uvula after waking up with a dry mouth. It's not painful, but it's really bothersome. I've never noticed my uvula like this before, and I'm not sure what to do. Can you help me understand what's going on and if I should be worried?

It sounds like your uvula might be slightly swollen or dry, which can happen with a dry mouth. Try drinking water to stay hydrated and consider using a humidifier to add moisture to the air. If it continues to feel uncomfortable or bothersome, its a good idea to see a doctor to rule out any other causes.

View allI'm having some major issues with my left ear that are really affecting my sleep. I found out I have a middle ear infection and after going through a bunch of tests like X-rays, blood work, an echocardiogram, ECG, and a CT scan of the mastoid, my doctor is suggesting a major surgery. Can you tell me what this surgery is called? I'm also really worried about any health risks that might come with it.
