I've been experiencing something strange in my throat where I can feel my uvula after waking up with a dry mouth. It's not painful, but it's really bothersome. I've never noticed my uvula like this before, and I'm not sure what to do. Can you help me understand what's going on and if I should be worried?

It sounds like your uvula might be slightly swollen or dry, which can happen with a dry mouth. Try drinking water to stay hydrated and consider using a humidifier to add moisture to the air. If it continues to feel uncomfortable or bothersome, its a good idea to see a doctor to rule out any other causes.

View allI've been dealing with silent reflux for the past 4 months, and nothing seems to help not even medications like esomeprazole, pantoprazole, or antacids. I've tried lifestyle changes too, but my sore throat won't go away, and my voice keeps getting worse because of vocal cord damage. I've heard mixed opinions about surgery for LPR some say it doesn't work. What do you suggest I do?

I'm noticing blood in my saliva occasionally, but there's no cough accompanying it. My IgE levels were elevated a couple of months ago. I'm really curious about what might be causing this. Any ideas?
Consult with a general physician or pulmonologist for proper assessment..get a chest x-ray, blood count and montoux test to rule out tubercular infection..

I've had this pain on the middle right side of my throat when I yawn or swallow saliva for about 3 weeks now. Plus, I have this weird lump sensation in my throat. I went to the doctor, and she didnt see anything wrong, but didnt explain why this is happening. It's really been worrying me because I'm generally healthy, eat well, and I'm pretty active. I do drink sometimes and smoke a few cigarettes a day. What's going on? Should I be concerned?
that could be mucosal congestion, consume warm foods and take warm fluids,it itself heal.
