I've been experiencing this upper right chest pain that happens whenever I laugh, and it really worries me. The pain just appears when I'm laughing and then disappears. Recently, I've also been burping quite a lot. Is this something I should be concerned about? What could be causing this?

I'm really worried about my 16-year-old son. He's been having pain in his lower abdomen for the last couple of days, and it seems to stretch towards the left. This is the third time it's happened in the past two months. The last time, we got all the urine tests, CBC, and an ultrasound done, and they all came back normal. Our physician just gave him some regular medication, and the pain went away. I'm wondering if there's something else we should be doing or if there's a specific cause we might be missing?

I'm a bit worried because I took NorfloxTZ for my loose motions for 5 days, and on the 5th day, the problem started again. I stopped taking Norflox, but I'm still having loose stools, like two or three times a day. Do you think it's okay to try Metronidazole for this, or is there something else I should do?

Your loose motions have not completely resolved. You can try taking Metronidazole along with a probiotic to help with the loose stools. Make sure to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new medication. Additionally, continue to stay hydrated and follow a bland diet to help with your symptoms.

I've been having slight chest pain on both sides for about a month, along with flank pain, and now abdominal pain on both sides for 56 days. My ultrasound showed acalculous cholecystitis, pancreatitis, and a 3mm kidney stone on the right side. Endoscopy revealed gastritis too. Is there any way to treat cholecystitis without stones? I really don't want to go through surgery.
