I've been feeling really off since having a COVID infection back in April. It's strange because since around May 21st, I've been feeling really dizzy, almost like being in a moving bus or train, and I've been experiencing extreme weakness. My symptoms also include a dry cough and an evening fever that hovers between 99.4 to 99.8 degrees. My pulse rate shoots up to 170 just from climbing stairs, and I've even had some chest pain here and there. Luckily, my appetite is still okay. I got an X-ray done and was wondering if there's any sign of infection. A while back, my CRP was 14.65, and though I haven't tested it again lately, my ECG was normal. My CBC showed a WBC count of 11,500, with hemoglobin at 10.6. Everything else looked fine, and I've tested negative for typhoid and malaria. Just trying to figure out what's going on with me. Any insights?

  1. Possible Reasons for Symptoms:

    • Post-COVID syndrome or long COVID.
    • Secondary bacterial infection or pneumonia.
    • Cardiovascular issues or myocarditis.
  2. X-ray and Infection Signs:

    • Look for signs of pneumonia or lung inflammation.
    • Consider follow-up with a healthcare provider for detailed interpretation.
  3. Insights from Lab Results:

    • Elevated CRP (14.65) suggests inflammation or infection.
    • WBC count (11,500) indicates possible infection.
    • Low hemoglobin (10.6) may contribute to weakness and dizziness.
    • Normal ECG reduces likelihood of acute cardiac issues.

Recommendation:

  • Consult a healthcare provider for a comprehensive evaluation and management plan.

I'm dealing with a dry cough and throat infection, and I'm not sure which medication would be more effective. Should I go with Clavem 625 mg or Gudcef 200? I'm a bit confused about which one would be better for my situation. Can you help me figure this out?

Rabies Transmission_ 1. _Rarely transmitted by rats_: Rats are not typical carriers of the rabies virus. 2. _Usually transmitted by infected mammals_: Dogs, cats, bats, and other mammals are more likely to transmit rabies. _Tetanus Injection_ 1. _Tetanus protection_: You've received protection against tetanus, which is a common concern with animal bites. _No Anti-Rabies Injection (Yet)_ 1. _Monitor for symptoms_: Watch for rabies symptoms, such as fever, headache, or unusual sensations around the bite area. 2. _Consult a doctor_: Inform your doctor about the rat bite and the lack of anti-rabies injection. They may recommend: - Observation and monitoring - Anti-rabies vaccination as a precaution - Further treatment or testing _Please Note_ 1. _Rabies risk is low_: Given the rarity of rabies transmission by rats, the risk is relatively low.

I'm really concerned about this penicillin injection I got near my lower hip yesterday for a weakly reactive VDRL. It still hurts quite a bit a day later, even after trying both ice and hot packs. I've also been gently rubbing the area, but the pain persists. Is this normal, and how long might it take to feel better? Could there be a risk of infection or something?

Injection site reactions are usually mild and resolve in 12 days. However, if the redness spreads or your pain worsens after 24 hours, consult general physician
