I've been having a bunch of symptoms lately that are starting to worry me. I feel like I'm always out of breath, and sometimes I get really dizzy out of nowhere. Fatigue has been a constant partner, and I've even fainted a couple of times, which is super scary. My head feels heavy, and I'm always tired no matter how much I sleep. On top of all that, I can't shake these negative thoughts and just feel so lazy all the time. Does this sound like something I should be concerned about, and what could be causing it?

My dad's pulse oximeter reading is 97 and his pulse rate is at 110. Is the pulse rate considered normal? I'm a bit concerned and would appreciate some advice.

a pulse rate of 110 beats per minute is slightly elevated but can still be considered normal, especially if your father is not experiencing any other symptoms. However, it would be best to monitor his pulse rate regularly and consult with a healthcare professional if you have any concerns. As for the pulse oximeter reading of 97%, this indicates that his blood oxygen saturation level is within the normal range. There is generally no need to worry about this reading. If your father continues to have a pulse rate of 110 or if you notice any other concerning symptoms, please consult with a healthcare provider for further evaluation.

I had MVR surgery back in October 2019 and have been on Cordarone 100 mg since then. Over the last month and a half, my heart rate has been consistently between 60-65 bpm. Is this a normal range or should I get it checked by my cardiologist?

A heart rate consistently between 60-65 bpm is generally considered within the normal range for adults, but it's crucial to consider your specific situation. Since you have a history of MVR surgery and are on Cordarone, it's recommended to consult with your cardiologist for their specific recommendations based on your individual health profile.
