I've been having this chest pain on the right side near my shoulder for a couple of months now. I saw a doctor near my place, and he checked me out, saying there's nothing to worry about, but the pain is still bothering me. He gave me some medicine called UGESIC 20mg and suggested I get an HB test. What could this pain mean, and should I be doing something more or different?

View allI'm feeling really worried because I've been having this sharp, burning chest pain for about a week now. It seems to get a bit better when I change positions or drink water, but it's really bothering me. The pain is right where my heart is. Do you think this could be something serious, or is it something I can manage on my own? What might be causing this?

Can I take Ecosprin AV75 tablets even if I don't have heart pain? I'm 33 years old and wondering how long it's safe to use this medication, like maybe taking one tablet a day for a month. Is it okay to just stop after that? Curious to hear your thoughts.
Ecosprin AV75 is a combination medication containing Aspirin and Atorvastatin. It is commonly used for heart health to prevent heart attacks and strokes. At your age of 33, if you do not have any specific heart condition or risk factors, it is not recommended to take Ecosprin AV75 as a preventive measure without consulting a doctor. If a doctor has prescribed Ecosprin AV75 for you, the duration of the treatment will depend on your individual health condition. It is important to follow your doctor's advice regarding how long to continue taking the medication. Typically, if it is prescribed for prevention, it may need to be taken for a longer duration than just one month. It is not advisable to stop taking Ecosprin AV75 abruptly without consulting your doctor, as sudden discontinuation of Aspirin can have adverse effects. Always follow your doctor's instructions regarding the duration of treatment and any changes to your medication regimen.
