I've been having extreme hair fall for over 5 months now, and its freaking me out because I've never experienced this before. My hair is thinning so fast, and I have no idea what to do. My thyroid is okay, according to the tests, so that's not it. I also recently moved to a new city; could the change in environment be messing with my hair? I even tried homeopathic medicine, but it's not helping. Can you suggest some solutions or tell me what might be wrong?

Excessive hair fall can be distressing. Since your thyroid levels are normal, let's explore other possible causes:

Possible Causes

  1. Environmental changes: As you suspected, the new environment might be contributing to your hair fall.
  2. Stress: Moving to a new city can be stressful, which may lead to hair fall.
  3. Nutritional deficiencies: Lack of essential nutrients like iron, zinc, or biotin can cause hair fall.
  4. Hormonal imbalance: Although your thyroid levels are normal, other hormonal imbalances might be contributing to hair fall.
  5. Hair care: Changes in water quality, hair products, or styling habits might be affecting your hair.

Recommendations

  1. Consult a dermatologist: A professional evaluation will help determine the underlying cause of your hair fall.
  2. Maintain a healthy diet: Ensure you're getting essential nutrients, including iron, zinc, biotin, and omega-3 fatty acids.
  3. Reduce stress: Engage in stress-reducing activities like yoga, meditation, or deep breathing exercises.
  4. Use gentle hair care products: Switch to sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners, and avoid excessive heat styling.
  5. Consider supplements: If your dermatologist recommends it, consider taking supplements like biotin, vitamin B, or fish oil to support hair growth.

I'm really worried because I got a positive result for HSV IgG with a range of 2.7. I've had the virus for three months, and it's mainly affecting my testicles, anus, and penis. I'm not experiencing pain, swelling, itching, or ulcers on my penis. I'm just scared and unsure if this is something that can be treated forever. Can you advise on what steps I should take?

I'm dealing with this really itchy allergy on my neck and inside my elbows. It's been four days now. I've been taking polaramine for three days and using soframycin, like I usually do since I often have skin allergies. But this time, it doesn't seem to be getting better. I'm getting quite worried. Could there be something else I should try or maybe there's something I'm missing here? Would appreciate any advice you have.

This could be fungal infection u need to evaluate with your Dermatologist and get appropriate treatment with oral antifungal medications and topical lotions, once the infection is resolved your hair fall would come down,I suggest you not to use minoxidil with active fungal infection, above this your personal hygiene care is more important.

I'm having trouble finding a medication called doxycycline lb that my dermatologist prescribed. Can I take doxycycline tablets 100 mg and lactic acid bacillus 60 million spores instead? Is it an equivalent or should I be concerned about the differences?
