I've been having gallstones and swelling in my pancreas, and the pain is really bad it goes from my back all the way to the front of my chest. The hospital doctor recommended surgery, but I'm really worried about it. Is surgery the only option, or are there other treatments I could try first? The pain is so severe, and I'm not sure what to do next.

It's understandable to be worried about surgery, especially with the severe pain you're experiencing. While surgery is often recommended for gallstone pancreatitis, there are other treatment options, including a procedure called Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). ERCP is a procedure where a long, thin tube with a camera is inserted into your mouth and guided through your digestive tract to identify and remove gallstones that may be causing the pancreatitis.

My dad has obstructive jaundice and gallstones. The doctor mentioned surgery might be needed but we're unsure if homeopathy could help instead. The report is attached what would you recommend for his condition?

I'm dealing with this strange issue where I have gas and anal itching, and it always seems to happen right after nocturnal ejaculation or masturbation. It's really frustrating because it clears up after a few days, but I'm worried because I've noticed this at least 10 times over the past 23 months. I've done blood tests and stool tests, and everything comes back normal. Every doctor I've consulted says there's no connection, but I'm not convinced. What could be causing this, and how can I solve it?

This could be fungal infection u need to evaluate with your Dermatologist and get appropriate treatment with oral antifungal medications and topical lotions, once the infection is resolved your hair fall would come down,I suggest you not to use minoxidil with active fungal infection, above this your personal hygiene care is more important.

What exactly is this viral load thing I've been hearing about? I'm stressing about my health a lot. Is hepatitis B something that can be cured? My test results came back saying HBsAg is provisionally reactive, and the lab suggested I get an HBsAg confirmatory test. I haven't noticed any of the symptoms I've read about online, but I'm feeling very tired and have lost a lot of weight, going from 68 kg to 58 kg. Could this be because of hepatitis B? How do I find out if this is an acute or chronic infection, and is it something fatal or life-threatening? I'm really worried here.

Viral load refers to the amount of hepatitis B virus (HBV) present in your blood; a confirmatory test will determine if you're infected; Hepatitis B can be managed, but not completely cured; symptoms like fatigue and weight loss can occur, but it's essential to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment; acute HBV is typically self-limiting, while chronic HBV requires ongoing management; it's not immediately life-threatening, but if left untreated, can lead to liver damage or cancer; schedule an appointment with a hepatologist or gastroenterologist to discuss your results, determine the stage of infection, and develop a treatment plan.
