I've been having this sharp pain on the left side, just above my rib cage, for a couple of days now. It's really bad when I sneeze or breathe too hard, and now it's even moved to my back. Should I be worried about this, or is there something I can do to ease the pain?

View allI'm dealing with typhoid fever for the last four days and recently got a CRP test that came back showing 24 mgL, but I know the normal range should be lower. Is it possible for CRP levels to rise with typhoid? Can you suggest ways to manage typhoid and help lower CRP levels?
Yes, CRP (C-reactive protein) levels can rise during infections like typhoid fever as part of the body's inflammatory response. It's important to follow your doctor's treatment plan, which usually includes antibiotics, hydration, and rest. Additionally, a healthy diet with anti-inflammatory foods and proper hydration can help manage CRP levels. Always consult your healthcare provider for personalized advice.
