I've been having some breathing issues and lung pain ever since I got the covid vaccine. I tried taking medicine for bronchitis, but it didn't fully help. Then I saw a gastroenterologist and started on medication for acid reflux. After my second vaccine dose, my breathing problems got really bad again. It's been about three months of taking meds now, but I'm still struggling. I've never had covid before. What should I do next?

View allI'm really worried about my uncle, he's 62 and has IHD. He's dealing with this massive left-sided pleural effusion and he's been in Railway hospital Bhaykhala with an ICD in place. We've been seeing a daily output of about 350-400ml of pleural fluid that's yellowish with a slight reddish tinge. The doctors at Tata hospital did two cytology tests for malignant cells and both came back negative. A PET-CT scan showed a small extra pleural nodule about 11x7mm at the pulmonary confluence, needing histopathological correlation, and the SUV max is 4.3. They've tried Augmentin and Magself Cefoperazone, but the fluid output hasn't changed. They've recommended a biopsy of the nodule. I'm just wondering if there are any other treatment options we could consider.

Hey, I'm really worried about my dad. He's been dealing with type 2 diabetes for a while now and recently, about 3 months back, he got diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis. He didn't tell anyone in our family because he thought it was just a regular cough and cold. But when things didn't get better, we had him tested, and it turned out to be TB. The chest X-ray and CT scan show a significant infection in both his lungs, with consolidation and cavitation, but thankfully no pleural or pericardial effusion. Now he's also got pneumonia because of all this. He's been on DOTS treatment for the last 10 days, but he's still coughing up phlegm. I'm anxious to know when we might start seeing some improvement in his condition. Could you shed some light on this?
it atleast will take 2-3 months to improve his condition, but you should continue DOTS for 6 months
