I've been noticing that I only take deep breaths when I think about it, but when I'm busy or asleep, I don't feel the need to. I saw my family doctor, and he told me to do exercise, but I'm constantly thinking about my breathing now and it's making me a bit worried. I've had an ECG and x-ray, and everything's clear. Could you give me some advice?

I've been dealing with bronchitis for a few months now, and before that, I was coughing up some thick phlegm. My doctor gave me some meds, but I'm kind of worried and thinking about getting a lung function test just to be safe. Can you suggest any tests that would check lung capacity and function? What are the main tests I should consider for this? Would really appreciate your guidance.

I've recently had a blood test, and it shows my eosinophil counts are higher than normal. I've also been having some breathing issues while I'm asleep, with a wheezing sound whenever I breathe in or out. Can you suggest what steps I should take next? Is there anything I can adjust in my diet to help bring my eosinophil counts back to normal levels?
It sounds like your high eosinophil count may be related to an allergic reaction or respiratory issue like asthma. I recommend following up with your doctor for further evaluation and possibly allergy testing. In the meantime, avoid allergens, and include anti-inflammatory foods like omega-3-rich fish, fruits, and vegetables in your diet.
