I've been noticing that I sometimes exhale hot air and feel a slight burning sensation in my chest. Is this something to worry about? Occasionally, I also feel a bit light-headed. Just wondering if this is normal or if I should get it checked out.

Feeling like you're exhaling hot air with a slight burning sensation in your chest, accompanied by lightheadedness, is not typical. Although it might not be a cause for immediate concern, it's essential to explore possible explanations.
Possible Causes
- Acid reflux: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) can cause stomach acid to flow up into the esophagus, leading to a burning sensation in the chest.
- Heartburn: Similar to acid reflux, heartburn can cause a burning sensation in the chest, especially after eating.
- Asthma or COPD: Respiratory conditions like asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) can cause shortness of breath, wheezing, and a burning sensation in the chest.
- Anxiety or panic attacks: Anxiety or panic attacks can cause rapid breathing, lightheadedness, and a sensation of burning or tightness in the chest.
- Other medical conditions: Certain medical conditions, such as pneumonia, bronchitis, or pulmonary embolism, can also cause these symptoms.
What to Do Next
- Consult a doctor: Schedule an appointment with your primary care physician to discuss your symptoms.
- Monitor your symptoms: Keep a journal to track when your symptoms occur, how long they last, and any potential triggers.
- Avoid triggers: If you suspect that certain foods, activities, or situations trigger your symptoms, try to avoid them.
Remember, it's always better to err on the side of caution when it comes to your health. Seek medical attention if you experience:
- Severe chest pain or pressure
- Difficulty breathing
- Dizziness or fainting
- Severe lightheadedness

We took him for an X-ray, and now we're hearing different thingssomeone mentioned it might be TB and some doctors are saying it could be pneumonia. Im confused and concerned about what it really is. Can you help clarify this or suggest what we should do next?

I've been dealing with this issue where whenever I eat, it feels like the food gets stuck between my chest and upper stomach, even though I don't have any acidity or pain. My pulmonologist had me on some meds like rablet d and ab flo, and while they helped a bit, they didn't really fix the problem. My chest X-ray came back normal, so that's good, but I'm pretty confused about what's going on. Just spoke to a friend who's a cardiologist and he thinks it's something to do with motility and stomach stuff, so he recommended a course of ganaton total for five days. I started that today, but I'm still feeling like I need to take a deep breath every few minutes. I've also been taking steam at night. Do you think this new medication will help clear up whatever's going on? I'm a bit anxious about what's causing this and would love some advice.
It sounds like your symptoms might be related to gastric motility or reflux issues, and Ganaton Total could help by improving stomach movement and relieving any discomfort from food getting "stuck." Since you're not experiencing pain and your chest report is clear, it's good that you're already doing yoga and walking. If the discomfort persists or worsens, further investigation into motility or digestive issues might be needed.

I'm feeling something is stuck in my neck and having a lot of gastric problems. I also experience a pins and needles sensation near the sternum area, like there's something inside. There's a headache and a lot of anxiety because of these issues. I've seen many doctors, but nothing seems to help. Im confused and dont know what to do. Some say its anxiety, others say there's nothing wrong. Googling symptoms just makes me feel more depressed. I also have pain in my forehead and back of my neck, and my fingertip pores feel really tight and hurt a bit when I close my hand. Can anyone suggest what might be happening or what I should do next?
Fasting, post prandial and Hba1c tests are advised to the patient.
