I've been noticing these small painful boils popping up on my head, and they keep coming and going in different spots. Occasionally, they even get pretty big. Do you have any idea what's causing this, and how I might be able to treat or prevent them? It's starting to really worry me.

I've had these tiny permanent bumps on my nose for about a year now and nothing seems to work. I've tried different products but some people say surgery might be my only option. What could these bumps be and is surgery really necessary?

I've had CO2 laser treatments done twice for molluscum contagiosum, but it just won't go away. What else can I try to stop it from coming back?
Recurrence of molluscum contagiosum after CO2 laser treatment can be frustrating. To help prevent further recurrence, I recommend using Imiquimod cream (brand name Aldara) topically on the affected areas once daily at bedtime for up to 16 weeks. Additionally, you can take oral antiviral medication such as Cimetidine (brand name Tagamet) 400mg twice daily for 6-8 weeks to boost your immune system's response against the virus. Make sure to follow up with your dermatologist for further evaluation and management.
