I've been smoking for about 3 years and decided to quit a few weeks ago, but I'm having these random pains in my chest and back where I used to feel inflammation when I smoked. Is this normal after quitting? Should I be worried about these pains, or is it just part of my body adjusting to not smoking anymore?

I'm really worried because theres fluid build-up in one of my mom's lungs. We're headed to CMC Vellore and it's about a 2-hour 15-minute flight. She's been coughing and has some trouble breathing. Is it safe for her to fly right now, or should we consider another form of travel?
