I've been sneezing non-stop and my doctor mentioned trying nasal sprays. How often can I safely use them each day? Are there any side effects I should worry about? Also, could you recommend a good nasal spray by name?

Nasal sprays for allergies are usually given once in a day 2 sprays per nostril. Also it depends on the compound in the spray.Usually sprays for allergies do not have any side effects and can be used safely for a long time. But there are also other nasal sprays which shouldnt be used for more then 3-4 days.

I've been experiencing this really odd crackling sound in my ears for over two years now. Whenever I swallow, speak, or even move the muscles in my ears, there's this popping or crisping noise. It started after I went scuba diving and I've also listened to a lot of loud music in the past. I've seen a doctor about it, but they said everything seems fine. If your child is frequently snoring and getting colds, it may be due to enlarged adenoids or tonsils. Consult an ENT specialist to assess whether surgery (like adenoidectomy or tonsillectomy) is needed.

My nose is almost always blocked and I use otrivin every day. Doctors say I have a swollen nose bone and need minor surgery, but is there any other option? I feel like I might be addicted to otrivin what should I do?

Your nose blockage, Otrivin overuse, and a swollen nose bone that requires minor surgery are all connected issues. The frequent use of Otrivin, a nasal decongestant, can lead to rebound congestion (rhinitis medicamentosa), where the nasal passages become more swollen and congested when the medication's effect wears off. This prolonged congestion can also lead to structural changes, such as a swollen nose bone, which may require surgery to correct.
