I've been spitting a little bit of fresh blood from my throat at night, and I'm really worried. I'm currently on medication for COPD and my X-ray shows smoky lungs, but I've never smoked or drank alcohol. I'm not experiencing weight loss or fever, and I'm taking antibiotics and cough syrup, but I'm unsure about what's happening. The blood I spit is bright red and clears up within minutes, usually after 10 p.m. My doctor did an X-ray and some basic blood tests, but I'm concerned if this could be something serious or life-threatening. What could be going on?

so did your chest xray and bloood investigations reports are normal .there are many reason for spiting fresh blood most common cause is chest infections so after evaluating you properly we can come to a diagnosis

View allI'm sending over my reports and really need your opinion. I've been dealing with a mild fever, like 99.5 in the evenings, and a persistent cough for the last 23 months. I haven't lost my appetite or anything, but the symptoms started when I was in Italy and continued after I returned to India. The doctor initially gave me AKT4, but it seemed to make things worsemy fever went up to 101.7 and my coughing increased. After two weeks, they switched my medication to AKURIT 4, with five tablets a day since I weigh 77 kg. It's been nine days on the new meds, and now my fever is around 99 to 99.5 degrees in the evening for a couple of hours, and the coughing has reduced. I'm just not sure if I'm on the right track here. Is it really tuberculosis, and how long should I expect the fever to last? I'm pretty anxious about this.

I've been through quite a journey with TB since 2016, dealing with extra pulmonary TB and after a year of treatment and some surgery for fluid drainage, I thought I was in the clear. In 2019, even though I had some lymph node swelling, the tests came back negative, and my doctor said I didn't need further medication. But now, with my fianc being diagnosed with pulmonary TB last December, I'm freaking out a bit. Given my history and the close contact, should I be concerned about getting TB again?

I've been experiencing this weird sensation where I feel short of breath, even when my nose is clear. I'm finding myself needing to take deep breaths and inhale more often than usual. Is this something I should be worried about? What might be causing it?
Patient is advised chest x-ray pa view and sputum for AFB bacilli and microscopy tests.
