I've been struggling with breathing problems for the past four years and suspect there might be extra tissue in my nose. Winters are especially tough it gets really hard to cope. Should I consider medication or would surgery be a better option for this?

View allI'm really struggling with a bad cold and my nose is completely blocked. Luckily, I don't have a fever right now. I currently have some crocin cold and flu tablets, but I recently heard that they might be banned by the government. Is it still safe for me to take them? I don't have any other medication on hand.

My daughter needs adenoid and tonsil surgery but I'm confused about the coblation machine. Is it always necessary for these procedures? Also can you suggest hospitals in Bangalore that do this surgery without coblation since our insurance doesn't cover it and the extra cost is quite high - around 9k to 18k in Koramangala hospitals
Coblation surgery for adenoids and tonsils is not always necessary. While it offers benefits like less pain and bleeding, it's not essential for all procedures. You can find hospitals in Bangalore that perform traditional adenoid and tonsil removal without coblation, especially since your insurance doesn't cover it and you're looking to minimize costs

I'm noticing blood in my saliva occasionally, but there's no cough accompanying it. My IgE levels were elevated a couple of months ago. I'm really curious about what might be causing this. Any ideas?
Consult with a general physician or pulmonologist for proper assessment..get a chest x-ray, blood count and montoux test to rule out tubercular infection..
