I'm really starting to worry about this sharp pain in my lower left abdomen that spreads towards my groin. After about ten days, I had another ultrasound and it seems like the stone is now in the lower ureter just below where the iliac vessels cross, but there's still mild hydronephrosis and this proximal hydroureter situation going on. I'm really hoping to avoid surgery if possible and would prefer to try medication. Is that a viable option, or should I prepare for the ureteroscopy?
