I've been struggling with really bad tanning on my forehead for a while now. I've tried a bunch of things like kojic acid creams, Sabiglow, and I've even had a yellow peel done. I've also been taking Pinodin G for a couple of months. Right now, I'm using Tazret cream as recommended by my dermatologist, but honestly, I haven't noticed any difference. I work from home, so I'm not out in the sun much, but I still apply a light sunscreen. Can you suggest any effective anti-tanning creams, scrubs, or face packs? I'm really looking for something that works.

  1. Understanding Tanning and Its Causes

    • Tanning can occur due to indirect UV exposure, even indoors. Sunscreen may not fully prevent it if not applied correctly or frequently.
  2. Review of Current Treatments

    • Kojic acid, Sabiglow, yellow peel, Pinodin G, and Tazret cream are common treatments. Lack of results may be due to skin type or insufficient duration.
  3. Recommendations for Effective Anti-Tanning Measures

    • Ensure consistent use of broad-spectrum sunscreen. Consider adding Vitamin C serums, niacinamide, or azelaic acid to your routine.
  4. Role of Exfoliation and Face Packs

    • Use gentle scrubs or chemical exfoliants like glycolic acid. Try natural face packs with turmeric and yogurt for lightening effects.
  5. When to Consult a Dermatologist Again

    • If no improvement after a few months, revisit your dermatologist for alternative treatments.
  6. Additional Lifestyle Tips

    • Avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours. Keep skin hydrated and maintain a healthy skincare routine.
