I've been told I need surgery for a deviated septum and possibly nasal polyps, and the hospital quoted around 43,000 rupees. Could there be any serious complications during the procedure that might end up costing a lot more than the estimated amount? I'm a bit worried about unexpected expenses if something goes wrong

Yes, while the quoted price of 43,000 rupees for septoplasty (deviated septum surgery) and possible polyp removal is a good starting point, unexpected complications could lead to higher costs. These might include complications related to bleeding, infection, or the need for additional procedures to address complications like septal perforation

my nose feels bent and I can even feel the bone is slightly crooked too is there any way to straighten it without surgery maybe with medicines or would I need an operation and are there any risks or side effects I should know about
If your nose feels bent or the bone seems crooked, it could be a deviated septum or a broken nose, and straightening it without surgery is unlikely. If it's a deviated septum, surgery (septoplasty) may be needed, and if it's a broken nose, it requires immediate medical attention, including the possibility of surgical repair.
