I've been using eye drops and noticed an improvement in my vision. Are these drops actually being absorbed by the eye lens? I'm really curious if that's what's helping my vision get better.

I've had redness in my right eye for about three weeks now, and while it wasn't really bothering me at first, I've been noticing a bit of a burning sensation the last couple of days. I'm really worried about my mom. She's 60 and has been experiencing watery eyes a lot, especially when she's watching TV. I'm planning to take her to a doctor, but in the meantime, do you have any recommendations for eyedrops that could offer her some immediate relief?
