I've been using finax 1mg for hair loss for the last 15 days and honestly, my hair loss had already stopped before I started taking it. But now, it seems like my hair loss is worse, so I'm really thinking about quitting the medicine. I'm just concernedare there any side effects if I stop after only 15 days? Any advice would be super helpful.

Finax 1mg, containing finasteride, is a medication primarily used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness).
Why You Might Be Experiencing Increased Hair Loss
- Initial Shedding: Finasteride can cause an initial shedding of hair, especially during the first few months of treatment. This is a common phenomenon, and hair growth should stabilize over time.
- Hormonal Adjustments: Finasteride works by blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that contributes to hair loss. However, this hormonal adjustment can sometimes lead to temporary increased hair loss.
Stoping Finax 1mg After 15 Days
- No Significant Side Effects Expected: Since you've only been taking Finax 1mg for 15 days, it's unlikely that you'll experience significant side effects from stopping the medication.
- Rebound Effect: However, you might experience a rebound effect, where your hair loss returns to its pre-treatment state or even worsens temporarily.
- Hormonal Readjustment: After stopping finasteride, your hormone levels will readjust, which might lead to temporary changes in hair growth patterns.

View allI'm dealing with a pretty bad itching all over my body, and it's bothering me quite a bit. A few years ago, I experienced something similar, and it turned out to be scabies. Could this be the same issue again, or is it something else? What should I do about it?
That could be Fungal infection, maintain personal hygiene and visit Dermatologist for evaluation and appropriate treatment.

I'm really struggling with jock itch that started on my groin and buttock area about 4 months ago. Now it's spreading like athlete's foot, and it's getting really frustrating. I've tried several treatments Quadriderm for the first couple of weeks and then Itch Guard for a month, but neither worked. I even consulted a doctor on Practo who suggested Onabet 2 cream and Terbinafine 250mg tablets, but there's been no improvement after a month. Is there any strong cream or treatment you would recommend for Tinea Cruris? I'm looking for something effective because nothing seems to be helping.

I've been dealing with these rashes on my inner thighs for the last few days, and I thought it might be from vaginal discharge. But now it's gotten worse, and the itchiness has spread to my private parts. It's really uncomfortable and sore. Im not having any trouble when I pee, and there's no smell with the discharge. What should I do about this?
It sounds like you may have a yeast infection. You can try using over-the-counter antifungal medication like Clotrimazole cream. Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area twice a day for 7-10 days. Additionally, keeping the area clean and dry, wearing loose cotton underwear, and avoiding tight clothing can help alleviate symptoms. If the symptoms persist or worsen, it is important to consult with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and management.
