I've got this lump that started out small and wasn't really painful, but I tried using hot fermentation on it. Now, after a month, its turned red, and it's quite painful and much bigger. The skin is hard, and it's making it difficult for me to walk. Hot water seems to help with the pain a bit, but it makes the skin even redder. Can you suggest what kind of doctor I should see about this?

View allI've recently seen a dermatologist and they prescribed me Resoten 20, along with some moisturizers and lip balm. I've heard that this medication can make acne look worse before it starts to improve. Should I stick with the 20mg, or do you think a stronger dose might be necessary for my mild to severe acne? Also, is there a more affordable option for Isotretinoin capsules than Resoten 20?

I have an abscess that's not coming to a head and keeps getting bigger each day. I'm on antibiotics but it's still itchy, hard around the edges, and soft and swollen in the middle. Will the antibiotics be enough to treat this or will I need surgery?
Large abscess that’s not draining usually needs incision & drainage.Incision helps antibiotics work;waiting may worsen infection.

I've been struggling with acne and oily skin for years now, and it's gotten to the point where I just really want to have acne-free, glowing skin. I've noticed small holes on my face too. Do you have any advice or treatments that could help with these concerns? I'm feeling pretty frustrated with my skin situation and would love to know if there's something I could try.
For acne and oily skin, you can try using a combination of topical treatments such as benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid-based products. You can also consider using a retinoid cream to help with acne and improve skin texture. Additionally, oral medications like oral antibiotics or isotretinoin may be prescribed by a doctor for severe cases. To improve the appearance of small holes on your face (which may be due to acne scars or enlarged pores), treatments like chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or laser therapy can be beneficial.
