I've got my beta hCG value at 149,449 during 6 weeks and 6 days, and my early scan at 4 weeks and 3 days showed a gestational sac and yolk sac. The doctor said to come back on the 20th for a heartbeat check. I'm worried if my hCG level is too highcould that be a problem? Any advice?

Sudden loose motions can be uncomfortable.
Sestil AD
- Anti-diarrheal medication: Sestil AD contains loperamide, which helps slow down bowel movements and reduce frequency.
- Dosage and duration: Follow the recommended dosage (usually 2-4 capsulesday) and consult your doctor if symptoms persist beyond 2-3 days.
Additional Remedies
- Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of fluids, such as water, clear broths, or electrolyte-rich beverages like coconut water or oral rehydration solutions.
- Bland diet: Opt for a bland diet of bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast (BRAT diet) until symptoms subside.
- Probiotics: Consider taking probiotics, like Lactobacillus acidophilus or Bifidobacterium bifidum, to help maintain gut health.
When to Seek Medical Attention
- Severe diarrhea: If you experience more than 6-8 loose motions in 24 hours.
- Vomiting or blood in stool: If you vomit or notice blood in your stool.
- Fever or abdominal pain: If you have a fever above 101.5F (38.6C) or severe abdominal pain.
- Persistent symptoms: If your symptoms last longer than 3-4 days.

View allMy wife had an IUI on the 20th and 21st of August, and it's been about 15 days now, but she hasn't noticed any major pregnancy signs. The only thing is she's feeling a bit dizzy in the afternoons. Could you let us know when pregnancy symptoms usually start? We're just a bit anxious.
Hello, it's not unusual for pregnancy symptoms to vary or be absent in the early days. Dizziness could be related to hormonal changes, but it's not a definitive sign. I recommend waiting a couple more days and doing a pregnancy test if her period doesnt start. Wishing you the best!

I've been having waist pain and irregular periods, and my ultrasound showed uterine fibroids. Should I be considering surgery for this or are there other options?
Yes, minimally invasive surgery is generally a good option. It usually results in faster recovery, less pain, and minimal scarring. However, final decision depends on imaging findings, symptoms, and your overall health—please consult your gynecologist.
