I've had a cough for about 56 days now. I've tried various syrups, but nothing seems to work. I've been using ventryl and kofnil syrup together. Is this combination safe for me?

View allI've been feeling breathless for the past couple of weeks, but my X-ray and pulmonary function test came back normal. The doctor mentioned something about Telecast L. Can you help me understand what this is and how it might help with my breathlessness? I'm starting to worry since everything looks normal on the tests.

Ive been dealing with this dry cough for the last 20 days and even after taking some medicines, it just wont go away. Im really worried and unsure what to do next. Could you give me some advice or suggest what might be going on?
Persistent dry cough may require a different approach. You can try taking Benadryl (Diphenhydramine) 25mg every 6 hours as needed for cough. Additionally, you can use Robitussin DM (Dextromethorphan and Guaifenesin) 10ml every 4-6 hours as needed for cough. Make sure to stay hydrated and consider using a humidifier to help soothe your throat.
