I've had this pimple on my cheek for a few days, and now the area around it, like an inch or so, is swollen, red, and a bit painful. Could you tell me what might be going on and any recommendations for treatment?

The treatment of acne differs according to the grade of involvement. Some people have more oilyness on the face which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped and creams need to be continued to prevent recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also important. Please don't do any self treatment such as over the counter Steroid creams. Don't burst the pimples with your fingers as it can result in ugly scars. The marks and pores left behind after the pimples heal can also be treated

I've been struggling with stretch marks and came across Strallium cream. I'm curious if it's really effective. Also, if I choose to go for laser treatment, how much will it actually reduce the visibility of my stretch marks?

I'm really worried about my boyfriend. He developed this small bump in his upper pubic area that looked like a pimple at first. We assumed it was just an ingrown hair. But it's been really painful and just keeps getting bigger. Now it's about the size of my fingertip, bright red, and the center looks hollow, almost like something's eating away at it. We're not sure if it could be a bug bite or what. Do you have any idea what this might be and how we should handle it?

It's essential to consult a SURGEON for an accurate diagnosis and proper treatment. Possible causes of the bump could be: 1. Infected ingrown hair or folliculitis 2. Abscess or boil 3. Cyst or sebaceous cyst 4. Skin infection like cellulitis or erysipelas 5. Insect bite or sting Given the symptoms you described, such as: - Increasing size and pain - Bright red color - Hollow center
