I've had a small white bump near the inner corner of my eye for a few months my doctor said it's a cyst. It doesn't hurt or grow but looks odd. They mentioned surgery if it doesn't go away on its own, but I'd rather try an antibiotic ointment first. Any recommendations for something effective?

Milia is a common skin condition that causes small white bumps (cysts) under the surface of your skin. About 40% to 50% of U.S. newborns have milia. Adults can get milia too. Treatment isn't necessary because milia are harmless and go away on their own.

Looking for recommendations on the best doctor and hospital in India for ICL eye surgery using only EVO Visian ICL lenses, not local or Indian ones. Want to know where I can get quality treatment at the most affordable price. Any advice on trusted specialists or clinics that specifically use these lenses?
For EVO Visian ICL surgery in India, focus on reputable hospitals known for refractive surgeries, particularly those that specialize in ICL procedures. Consider clinics like ASG Eye Hospital, Eye7 Chaudhary Eye Centre, or Ojas Eye Hospital, as they are known for their expertise and use of advanced technology. I have cataracts in both eyes and my doctor recommended surgery, but my blood sugar levels are high fasting is 167, PP is 245, and HbA1c is 5.6. My urine test was normal. Should I still go ahead with the surgery or is there anything else I should do first to manage my sugar levels better?
While your HbA1c is currently in the pre-diabetic range (5.6), your fasting and postprandial blood sugar levels are elevated, indicating you may be experiencing hyperglycemia. Cataract surgery can be performed in diabetic patients, but good glycemic control is crucial to minimize complications. It's recommended you work with your doctor to improve your blood sugar control before proceeding with surgery.
