I've had a squint in my right eye since I was a kid, but it seems more noticeable now as I'm 28. Is there any way to fix this without having surgery? Are there glasses or maybe muscle exercises that could help?

I've noticed these yellow spots inside my eyelid, and my eyes often feel sore and itchy, which is really uncomfortable. They swell a lot at first. I visited a doctor who recommended tobramycin dexamethasone, and while it helps with the redness temporarily, it keeps coming back. I've been dealing with these symptoms for almost a year now. Any advice on what might be going on or what else I can do?

There seems to be a persistent issue with your eyes despite using tobramycin dexamethasone. The yellow spots inside your eyelid and the recurring soreness, swelling, itchiness, and discomfort could indicate a chronic condition. I would recommend trying a different approach. You can use an antibiotic ointment like erythromycin ointment to address the yellow spots inside your eyelid. Apply a small amount on the affected area 2-4 times a day. Additionally, for the sore eyes and redness, you can use artificial tears eye drops to help lubricate your eyes and reduce irritation. Use the artificial tears as needed throughout the day for relief. If the symptoms persist, it is advisable to consult with an ophthalmologist for further evaluation and management.

Hey, I've got this small white bump on my upper eyelid and it's underneath the skin. It's been causing a bit of pain. Any idea what's going on or what I should do about it?

You may have a stye, which is a common eye infection that can cause a painful bump on the eyelid. You can try using antibiotic eye ointment like Tobramycin (Tobrex) twice a day on the affected area. Additionally, applying a warm compress to the eyelid for 10-15 minutes several times a day can help reduce pain and swelling. If the stye does not improve or if your symptoms worsen, please consult an ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.

I'm really worried about my dad's eye condition. He went to the hospital by himself, and he's saying he needs to use atropine in the morning and at night, one drop each time, and moxifloxacin every hour. That sounds right according to the doctor's instructions, but I'm confused because as per the prescription, he's also supposed to use itraconazole and natamycin every hour. My dad is telling me the doctor advised him to start those only after finishing atropine and moxifloxacin. I'm 600 km away and it's stressing me out not being there to help. Can you help me make sense of what should be done first?
