I've had swelling in my lower leg near the ankle for about five years now, and I've also noticed some numbness around the last two toes on my left leg. I'm currently taking Losartan H as a maintenance dose. My blood pressure is normal, and I don't have diabetes. Could you help me figure out what's going on and what I should do next?

Long standing edema in the leg needs a proper examination. Oedema in the legs can be majorly due to some heart problem or kidney damage. Since you have both blood pressure and diabetes, it becomes necessary to check the functional ability of both these organs. You can undergo a thorough examination of kidney function and of heart

I'm really worried about my mom. She accidentally took her blood pressure medication this afternoon, just two hours after her morning dose. She's supposed to take it twice a day, morning and night, but she got mixed up and thought she was taking her calcium pill. Do we need to do anything about this? Should I be concerned or is this an emergency?

U can continue same medication next day as advised..

I've got this thing with my right carotid artery it's way bigger than the left one, like three or four times the size, and the other side's totally normal. When they first found it, one tech thought I needed emergency surgery, but then another doctor said it wasn't a big deal. Im 37, pretty healthy, and there's no family history of vascular issues. The only thing that bothers me is this ache I get when I'm exercising. Just wondering, is there something I should be worried about down the road?

I've been taking Eliquis for a little over a month now, and my period started three days ago. I'm having a lot of accidents. At what point should I reach out to my vascular doctor? I can't walk yet because of the surgery, and I'm 34 with a blood clot that blocked blood flow to my leg for over three weeks. They're saying I might need an amputation soon. Can you help me understand what's normal and when I should be concerned?
