I've had these black spots around my stomach for quite some time, probably around 23 months now. Initially, I thought they'd just fade away if I ignored them, but they're still there. There are about 8 of them, and they didn't start as pimples or anythingthey just appeared as black spots. Should I be worried about this or is there something that can help get rid of them?

Possible Causes
- Melasma: Hormonal changes or sun exposure can cause melanin deposits, leading to black spots.
- Hyper-pigmentation: Inflammation or skin injuries can cause an increase in melanin production, resulting in dark spots.
- Skin tags: Small, benign growths can appear as black spots.
- Seborrheic keratoses: Benign growths that can appear as black spots, especially in areas with high sun exposure.
- Dermatosis papulosa nigra: A benign condition characterized by dark, raised spots.
What to Do
- Consult a dermatologist: Get a professional diagnosis to determine the cause of the black spots.
- Skin examination: A dermatologist will examine your skin to determine the underlying cause.
- Treatment options: Depending on the diagnosis, treatment options may include topical creams, laser therapy, or removal of skin tags or growths.
Self-Care
- Protect your skin from the sun: Use sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to prevent further darkening of the spots.
- Maintain good skin hygiene: Keep the area clean and dry to prevent infection.

View allI'm 39 years old and have been dealing with chickenpox for the last couple of days. The blisters are all over my body, especially on my face. I've heard about using Dettol antiseptic liquid for bathing, and I'm wondering if that's okay while I'm dealing with such severe symptoms. I'm just worried about whether it might irritate my skin more or if it could help sanitize those blisters a bit. Any advice would be really appreciated.

I'm a 28-year-old guy and I've just found out my DHT levels are higher than the normal range; mine are 1221 pgml, while the normal range is 250-990. I've noticed I'm also dealing with an itchy scalp and hair loss. Could there be a link between my high DHT levels and these issues? I'm really curious if that's what's causing it and what I should do about it.

I've been experiencing some mild itching inside my penis for the past 4 days. I'm really curious about what could be causing this and would love to know if there's any remedy I could try.
Itching inside the penis can be caused by various factors such as fungal infections, contact dermatitis, or sexually transmitted infections. To help relieve the itching, you can try using an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole 1% cream. Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area twice a day for about 1-2 weeks. It is important to keep the area clean and dry to prevent further irritation. If the itching persists or worsens, it is recommended to see a doctor for further evaluation and treatment.
