I've had these black spots around my stomach for quite some time, probably around 23 months now. Initially, I thought they'd just fade away if I ignored them, but they're still there. There are about 8 of them, and they didn't start as pimples or anythingthey just appeared as black spots. Should I be worried about this or is there something that can help get rid of them?

Possible Causes

  1. Melasma: Hormonal changes or sun exposure can cause melanin deposits, leading to black spots.
  2. Hyper-pigmentation: Inflammation or skin injuries can cause an increase in melanin production, resulting in dark spots.
  3. Skin tags: Small, benign growths can appear as black spots.
  4. Seborrheic keratoses: Benign growths that can appear as black spots, especially in areas with high sun exposure.
  5. Dermatosis papulosa nigra: A benign condition characterized by dark, raised spots.

What to Do

  1. Consult a dermatologist: Get a professional diagnosis to determine the cause of the black spots.
  2. Skin examination: A dermatologist will examine your skin to determine the underlying cause.
  3. Treatment options: Depending on the diagnosis, treatment options may include topical creams, laser therapy, or removal of skin tags or growths.

Self-Care

  1. Protect your skin from the sun: Use sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to prevent further darkening of the spots.
  2. Maintain good skin hygiene: Keep the area clean and dry to prevent infection.

This could be fungal infection u need to evaluate with your Dermatologist and get appropriate treatment with oral antifungal medications and topical lotions, once the infection is resolved your hair fall would come down,I suggest you not to use minoxidil with active fungal infection, above this your personal hygiene care is more important.

I've been really worried because my hair has started falling out a lot again and my crown line is receding. It all kicked off about two years ago, and even though I've been to different doctors, nothing seems to stick. Last year, in August, a doctor in Mumbai prescribed me a bunch of stuff: Capsule hair fix advance 1mg, Finax 1mg tablets, spray Grocapix, lotion Adroanagen, and Foliglo shampoo. After using these for a month, there was improvement, but now the hair fall is back. What should I do next?

According to your history it looks like androgenic alopecia if at all the above medications did work continue them as your Dermatologist advised, and balanced diet with extra protein and adequate sleep will help.

I've been dealing with dry and cracked skin on my right palm for quite some time now, but it doesn't really hurt. It's just a bit concerning since my left hand seems totally fine and normal. What could be causing this difference, and should I be worried or seeing someone about this?

May be due to a variety of reasons such as excessive hand washing, exposure to harsh chemicals, or environmental factors. I recommend using a moisturizing cream containing urea and lactic acid, such as Eucerin Advanced Repair Hand Cream, twice a day on the affected hand. Additionally, wearing gloves while doing household chores or using hand sanitizers can help protect the skin.
