I've had three endoscopies and the reports show a hiatal hernia. Right now I'm on Sompraz L and don't have burning sensations, but my chest feels really heavy and uncomfortable. The cardiologist checked me for chest pain and all tests even the chest X-ray came back normal with no heart issues. Still, the chest pain won't go away. Do I need surgery for the hiatal hernia or is there another way to manage this?

While a HIDA scan showing 95% gallbladder function indicates relatively good function, larger stones, especially in a diabetic patient, increase the risk of complications and may outweigh the benefits of maintaining the gallbladder
