I've had two cyst lumps in my groin for about a year now and want to get rid of them. They don't hurt or itch - is there any way to remove them without surgery?

View allI'm dealing with a pilonidal cyst that's started oozing a bit of pus and has been bleeding. I'm wondering if it's something that can heal on its own or if I should consider heading to the doctor's office. Is it something I should be worried about, or can it resolve without medical intervention?
A pilonidal cyst may not heal on its own and may require medical intervention. You can try keeping the area clean and dry, and using warm compresses to help with drainage. However, it is recommended to see a doctor for further evaluation and treatment. In some cases, antibiotics may be prescribed, and in severe cases, surgical drainage or removal of the cyst may be necessary.

Is there a way to treat a perianal abscess without surgery? I've heard about laser or infrared treatments do those work, or are there other non-surgical options that can help? I'm worried about going under the knife and want to explore alternatives first.

My nephew is 9 and has had undescended testis since birth. The government hospital recommended surgery but I want a second opinion. Should I see a pediatrician, pediatric surgeon, general surgeon, or urologist for this?
For undescended testes, a pediatric urologist or pediatric surgeon is ideal. Surgery is usually needed before age 1–2. Delay increases cancer and fertility risks.
