I've just moved to Pune from the UK after living there for five years, and it's only been about four months. Recently, I've developed a skin issue. For the last three weeks, I've noticed a bump on the shaft of my penis. It isn't painful, but it's concerning me. Could this be related to the weather change or maybe some kind of disease?

I'm dealing with some ringworm on my arms, and it's really bothering me. Could you recommend a good cream or gel to get rid of it and help with the marks it leaves behind?

Probable diagnosis is fungal infection. Candid cream for local application is advised for 2 weeks, along with tab levocetrizine 10 mg orally, daily for 5 days is advised to the patient.

I'm dealing with moderate acne and hyperpigmentation, and my skin type is combination and acne-prone. I'm wondering if an azelaic acid suspension would be more effective for me as a gel or cream. I've tried tretinoin before, but it always causes breakouts. Right now, I'm using a 10% niacinamide serum from Minimalist, followed by aloe vera gel and tea tree oil as a moisturizer. Can you recommend something that might work better for me, other than tretinoin and isotretinoin?

gel based and See a specialist for accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment.

I'm a guy in my mid-20s and had a healthy sex life before. I got a hair transplant in February, and my dermatologist recommended I use More F5 solution with topical 5% minoxidil and finasteride. After using it for about 17 days, applying 10 drops once a day on the transplanted area, I started having ED problems. I stopped using it immediately. It's been like 15 days since I stopped, and I might be a bit better, but I'm honestly not sure. My dermatologist then suggested minovera, which is just the topical 5% minoxidil without finasteride, and after only 2 days, I had the same erection issues, using it the same way as before. Now it's been 7 days since I quit minovera, but I'm still having ED issues. I've read reviews where people say they had these side effects even after stopping minoxidil for three months. My dermatologist says it's just temporary and all in my head since the half-life of minoxidil is 24 hours. I'm really convinced it's not just in my mind. Can you help me figure out what's going on?

It sounds like youve experienced some concerning side effects after using minoxidil and finasteride, which can sometimes affect sexual health. While your dermatologist is correct that these effects can be temporary, it's important to address your concerns seriously. I recommend consulting with a urologist or another specialist to explore any underlying issues and to get personalized guidance on managing these symptoms.
