Ive noticed that after I have something really cold, I start coughing with a sort of wheezing sound. Sometimes I even bring up a tiny bit of phlegm, but by the next morning, the cough is completely gone. Its like it never happened. Is this something I should be concerned about?

My dad's been dealing with this really thick white phlegm and a cough every day after he got over bronchitis a few days ago. Before, the phlegm was yellowish for about 5 or 6 days, and now it's just super thick and white. Do you think this will clear up soon?
