I've noticed this dark patch of skin on my lower abdomen for the past few months, and now there's a red border forming around it. It's not itchy or raised, and it doesn't feel any different from the surrounding skin. What could this be? Should I be concerned?

View allMy mom is dealing with herpes and it's really taking a toll on her. She's always feeling itchy, has burning skin, and the pain is just unbearable sometimes. Is there any treatment or medicine that could potentially help her get rid of it? I'm really worried and would appreciate any advice you can offer.
If your mother has never been diagnosed by a healthcare professional, its essential to have a doctor assess her symptoms. This will ensure she receives the correct diagnosis and treatment plan. Also, if she is experiencing genital herpes, its important to discuss measures to prevent spreading the virus to others, including safe sexual practices. Is there any way to treat or manage macular amyloidosis? I've seen quite a few dermatologists, but they all told me there's no cure, and the medications they gave me didn't seem to help. Could you provide any insight or advice on this?
Unfortunately, there is currently no definitive cure for macular amyloidosis. However, topical treatments such as Tacrolimus ointment can help improve the appearance of the affected skin. You can apply Tacrolimus ointment twice daily to the affected areas as prescribed by your dermatologist. Additionally, phototherapy with Narrowband UVB light may also be beneficial in some cases. It is important to follow your dermatologist's recommendations for the best management of macular amyloidosis.

I've been using Dk gel and Dazit M tablet for like 5 months, and suddenly I noticed these weird red spots on my thighs. They're not itchy or anything, but they went away as soon as I stopped with the Dazit M. So now I'm wondering if I can switch to LHist instead of Dazit M for maybe better results?
