I've noticed a lump between my ear and jaw that's been sore for about three days now. It hasn't changed in size and doesn't seem like it can move around. I'm 18, so I'm a bit worried. Any idea what it might be?

Excessive sneezing and nasal congestion can be frustrating!
Given your symptoms and the ineffectiveness of Fexofenadine, consider the following options:
- Consult an Allergist: For comprehensive allergy testing to identify specific allergens triggering your symptoms.
- Nasal Sprays: Add a nasal spray to your treatment, such as:
- Azelastine (antihistamine)
- Fluticasone (steroid)
- Ipratropium (anticholinergic)
- Immunotherapy: If allergy testing reveals specific allergens, consider immunotherapy (allergy shots or sublingual tablets) for long-term relief.
- Saline Nasal Irrigation: Regularly rinse your nasal passages with a saline solution to remove allergens and reduce congestion.
- HEPA Filters: Use HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters in your home to reduce allergen exposure.
Discuss these options with your ENT doctor or allergist to determine the best course of action for your specific situation.

I'm really concerned because I've been able to see my epiglottis for about a month now, and it seems like it's sitting really high. I'm not having any issues with breathing, swallowing, or speaking, but I'm still worried about why this is happening. Will it go away on its own, or is there something I should be doing to help it get back to normal? Any advice would be appreciated.
You may be experiencing epiglottitis, which is inflammation of the epiglottis. In adults, epiglottitis is usually caused by a bacterial infection. It is important to seek medical attention for proper evaluation and treatment. Antibiotics such as Ceftriaxone or Cefotaxime may be prescribed to treat the infection. In severe cases, hospitalization and intravenous antibiotics may be necessary. It is important to follow up with your healthcare provider for monitoring and management of your condition.
