I've noticed a lump in my throat, just above my Adams apple. It's not painful, but it feels uncomfortable when I swallow. Should I be worried about this? What could it be?

It feels like a piece of food is stuck there, but drinking water hasn't helped at all. Could this be some kind of boil or an infection? I'm a bit worried and would love your advice on this.
