I've recently started experiencing some shortness of breath out of nowhere, and it made me decide to stop smoking. For a week or so after quitting, I felt fine and didn't have any breathing issues. But now, in the second week, the shortness of breath has come back suddenly. Could you shed some light on why this might be happening? Also, are there any home remedies I could try to help with this?

View allI'm really concerned about my mom. She's dealing with ILD, and her cardiologist prescribed Existing AV 75 to help manage her high blood pressure. I'm worried about how this might affect her lungs. Is it safe for her to take this medication? Would love some insight on this.

I've been diagnosed with sleep apnea but I'm not keen on using a CPAP machine or surgery. Are there other ways to treat it naturally or with lifestyle changes? What options have worked for others?
Yes, besides CPAP and surgery, various lifestyle changes and alternative therapies can help manage sleep apnea. Many people find success with losing weight, practicing positional therapy (sleeping on their side), and using oral appliances.

So, I just got the results from a chest x-ray and it says I have "prominent bronchovascular markings." Everything else seems normal, but should I be concerned about this? What does it even mean?
increased bronchovascular markings may be a common finding in chest x ray because of pollution and minor cold like infections...usually it is nothing to worry about but definitely better to get yourself examined...its always better the examination findings with the investigation findings as together only they give a better impression
