The liver is enlarged, measuring 17.5 cm. No dilated PV or IHBR is noted. There is a thin walled large anechoic cyst in the right lobe measuring 10.5 x 9.3 x 9.6 cm3. No membrane or daughter cyst is noted. Platelets are low at 68,000/cu mm. RBC and WBC counts are also low. My question is, what is the solution to this problem? Is it risky? Please answer me.

A large liver cyst (10.5 cm) with low platelets and low blood counts can be concerning and must be evaluated by a hepatologist or gastroenterologist. The absence of daughter cysts suggests it may be a simple or hydatid cyst, but its size alone makes it important to assess. Platelet count of 68,000 is below normal and might be due to liver pressure or underlying infection. You may need an ultrasound guided FNAC or MRI to confirm the type of cyst.

View allI have been HBsAg positive. I had a blood test on December 12, and it was still positive. My wife is currently pregnant, but her blood test result is negative for HBsAg. Is there any danger to her or the baby? Please let me know.

Sir, today I did my LFT test. Please check my results: Total bilirubin: 1.1 Direct bilirubin: 0.6 Indirect bilirubin: 0.5 SGOT: 45 SGPT: 46 Alkaline phosphatase: 299 According to my lab, the total alkaline phosphatase normal range is up to 308. Please confirm. Currently, I am taking Ursocol 300 mg. Can I take Amlycure syrup along with this? Please suggest any safe medicines or methods to help reduce my SGPT and SGOT levels. I am attaching my LFT report for reference. Thank you.
