Looking for a good cataract surgeon in Noida near sector 71. Just found out I have cataracts during my eye checkup for new glasses. Any recommendations for experienced doctors in the area? What should I look for when choosing a specialist for this surgery?

View allI have cataracts in both eyes and my doctor recommended surgery, but my blood sugar levels are high fasting is 167, PP is 245, and HbA1c is 5.6. My urine test was normal. Should I still go ahead with the surgery or is there anything else I should do first to manage my sugar levels better?
While your HbA1c is currently in the pre-diabetic range (5.6), your fasting and postprandial blood sugar levels are elevated, indicating you may be experiencing hyperglycemia. Cataract surgery can be performed in diabetic patients, but good glycemic control is crucial to minimize complications. It's recommended you work with your doctor to improve your blood sugar control before proceeding with surgery.

Can multifocal lenses be used for everyone getting cataract surgery or are there certain patients who shouldn't get them Also is phaco really the best option or are there other techniques that might work better for some people
Multifocal lenses, while beneficial for many, aren't suitable for everyone undergoing cataract surgery. Certain individuals may experience visual disturbances or have underlying eye conditions that make multifocal lenses less effective or even contraindicated. Phacoemulsification (phaco) is a common and effective technique, but other options, like laser-assisted cataract surgery, offer different advantages for some patients

I'm considering Lasik surgery and have a high spherical number around 7 with a bit of cylindrical correction at 1. My cornea thickness is over 540 in both eyes. With these numbers, which Lasik option would work best for me Blade Lasik, Bladeless Lasik, or Contoura Vision? I'm a little unsure about the differences and which one would be safest and most effective for my case.
opthal opinion is advised.
