My 11 month old baby has been having fever for the past 15 days. Only her head feels very hot, and it occurs mainly at night. Today, we did a blood test, which shows very low hemoglobin and a blood infection. What should I do, and what treatment is needed?

Continuous fever and low hemoglobin suggests possible infection or early anemia. Give fluids, iron rich foods, and continue prescribed treatment. Repeat CBC, CRP, Blood Culture, and Iron Studies for clearer diagnosis.
Dr. Hema Suggests...
Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a CRP Test (C - Reactive Protein) Test

I am suffering from fever, headache, and body pains including joint pains. I went to the hospital and after taking medicine I am feeling better, but I have a doubt whether my fever is normal or viral. The doctor prescribed a few blood tests but all test results are normal. My symptoms do not seem like a normal fever. Please suggest, what is this?

I recently had some tests done. My main symptoms are feeling feverish (slightly warm body), weakness/loss of energy, and slight giddiness. My reports show: ESR is 27 (normal 0 to 19), increased RBC (erythrocytosis), increased platelets (thrombocytosis), and very low Vitamin D3 (7.54). What could be the cause of increased RBC, platelets, and ESR? Does this indicate an active infection in the body?
