My 3-year-old son was diagnosed with mild hydrocele with no hernia. The pediatrician referred us to a surgeon, and we have an appointment today. I wanted to know if surgery is the only option or if there are medications available too. Also, is it safe to wait a year or two until he's older for the surgery?

I had inguinal hernia surgery back in December 2018 and now I'm thinking of joining the gym. What kind of precautions should I take while working out to avoid any issues?
After inguinal hernia surgery, it's important to avoid strenuous activities and heavy lifting for at least 4-6 weeks to allow proper healing. When you are ready to return to the gym, start slowly and gradually increase your intensity. Avoid exercises that put strain on the surgical site, such as abdominal crunches, sit-ups, and exercises that involve heavy lifting or high impact
