My 3-year-old is very active but someone mentioned they might have tonsils. How can we treat tonsils without surgery since the baby seems fine otherwise?

Tonsils only need surgery if recurrent infections or breathing issues—monitor and use home care if mild.

I'm trying to figure out how much milk my 2.7-year-old son should be drinking. He weighs 13.7 kg. Also, I'm curious if there are any specific health drinks you'd recommend and how often or how much he should have them. And by the way, is it alright to add a bit of sugar to things like idly or curd for him at this age?

as he is naer 3 years old feed him according to his demand and include all nutrients in hsi food and yes you can give sugar,no problem, have a regular follow up with your docotor

My 3-year-old son has had a runny nose and viral fever frequently over the past two years. Weve been to the doctor, and they prescribed some meds, but they don't seem to be working. For his fever, they've given us Ibugesic, and for his cough and cold, they suggested something else. I'm really concerned, could you give us some advice on what else we might try or what could be going on?

It seems your son may have recurrent viral infections, which can sometimes be common in young children due to their developing immune system. I recommend discussing with your pediatrician about further investigations, such as assessing for allergies or other underlying conditions. In the meantime, maintaining good hydration, rest, and using prescribed medications as directed can help manage symptoms.

I'm really worried about my 2-year-old. He caught a cold a couple of days ago and then developed a severe dry cough that same night. Yesterday, his breathing seemed forced; he hardly ate anything all day and drank only a few sips of water. I nebulized him eight times, and today it seems like his breathing's a bit better. Im giving him Bro Zedex syrup and Alex Junior. The last time he had something like this, the doctor had to give him an aminophylline injection followed by nebulization. Do you think just using the nebulization will help this time, and will his condition improve? I'm really worried.

viral infection - maybe pneumonic , start antibiotics
